27 trains cancelled, 6 diverted due to closure of Old Yamuna Bridge in Delhi

Twenty seven trains have been cancelled and seven diverted due to the closure of Delhi's Old Yamuna Bridge. The bridge has been temporarily closed as the water level in Yamuna river has reached the danger mark.
Yamuna's water level has reached 205.53 metres with the danger mark being 204.83 metres.
Traffic movement on the Old Yamuna Bridge was stopped yesterday evening as water level in Yamuna continue to rise.
Officials said that a flood control room and a round-the-clock emergency operation center has been set up to monitor Yamuna's situation.
Yamuna's water level continues to rise as Haryana released more water from the Hathini Kund Bairaj. Several people were evacuated from the low-lying areas near the river bank.
Delhi's deputy CM Manish Sisodia visited the site and took stock of the ongoing rescue operations.
