Hitting out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the bungalow controversy, Samajwadi Party chief and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav said that he would be giving a cash reward of Rs 11 lakh to those who expose the real culprits behind vandalising the property which he had vacated in compliance with a Supreme Court's order.

Speaking in Lucknow at the birth anniversary for former SP vice president Janeshwar Mishra, the former CM said " After the bungalow was vacated by me, few people had gone there with hammers, pickaxe and cameras. The property was vandalised as a part of a conspiracy and later blame was put on me. I would like to announce that the party would be giving a cash reward of Rs 11 lakhs to anyone including journalists for exposing the main culprits behind the damage. "Akhilesh also targeted the BJP over recent incidents of lynching and said, "Our culture is not to kill anyone brutally on suspicion. Some people are spreading hatred using the issue of cow protection. However, the ground reality is that the condition of cows under the BJP rule is extremely bad."

He also slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for allegedly inaugurating schemes and projects already started during his govt.Taking a dig at the PM, he said, "The Samsung project was inaugurated by our party senior leader Rajendra Chaudhary in Noida. However, PM has again inaugurated it. Now I want to ask the workers who are bigger PM or our leader? The expressway project was also started by us but the credit is being taken by BJP."

Akhilesh also targeted PM Modi and UP CM Adityanath for claiming to bring investment worth Rs 60,000 crore rupees in the state.

"I want to ask them which bank has given a loan to these businessmen. The money of the banks have been taken by a few entrepreneurs who have fled the country and the govt has helped them by issuing passports to them" added the SP chief.Akhilesh also demanded reservation based on Aadhaar counting of the people in the country and sought a report from the PM over increasing deaths of farmers across the country.

Later SP founder Mulayam Singh Yadav also joined the event and slammed the govt for not fulfilling the promise made to youths, farmers and deprived.
