Modi and Shah will discuss strategies for 2019 with all BJP CM’s

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah will chair a meeting of chief ministers of BJP-ruled states on Tuesday.

Deputy chief ministers of the states will also be a part of the meeting which will be held at the BJP headquarters on Deen Dayal Marg in New Delhi.

PM Modi is expected to discuss the 2019 general elections with the ministers. The status of tasks set in the previous meeting will also be discussed.

In the previous meeting, ministers were asked to propagate the one nation one poll agenda in their respective states. The meeting to be held on Tuesday will also review this.

The meeting is seen as a run-up to the 2019 general election. The meeting holds a significance, as it will deal with measures to promote and spread awareness about the welfare schemes initiated by the Modi government.
