State polls: BJP to announce first list of candidates for MP, C’garh and Rajasthan on 19th October

Delhi: BJP general secretary kailash vijayvargiya said that the names of candidates for Madhya Pradesh, C’garh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Mizoram will be announced on October 19 and 20. Speaking to The Nationalist Vijayvargiya said, "Nearly all assembly seats were discussed. District presidents, MPs also gave recommendations regarding names in their respective states. A panel of probable candidates has been made in every state and this panel will send their recommendation to state election committee and then sent to the Central Election Committee in Delhi. On October 19-20, the first list of candidate will announced" Parliamentary board will meet on 19Th octomber. In Chhattisgarh the nominations can be filed till October 23,In Madhya Pradesh the nomination can be filed till 12 November. In Rajasthan  the nomination can filed till 19 november. Rajasthan and Telangana will go for single phase voting on December 7.

In Chhattisgarh  regional outfit of former chief minister Ajit Jogi, who has entered into a pre-poll alliance with Mayawati's Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) have already declared their candidates, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress are yet to announce their contestants.

Chhattisgarh will go to polls in two phases - November 12 and 20 - respectively. 

Counting of votes will be done on December 11.
